HOW WE'RE NAVIGATING COVID-19

AT CH BOUTIQUE HOTEL

TO OUR VALUED GUESTS AND CUSTOMERS

As we continually adapt to the COVID restrictions in line with the National Cabinet and NSW Government social measures, we will keep this page updated as much as we can to ensure our guests are aware of the actions we are taking to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

If you are looking ahead and wanting to plan a holiday for the future - we are here to help. Our reservations are open daily from 8am to 6pm.

We are asking all guests for mutual mindfulness & consideration, and to follow good hygiene as recommended by the World Health Organisation including hand and respiratory hygiene best practice. If you are presenting with any illness prior to your stay or booking, we are asking our guests to stay home and rest up.

Here is a snap shot of what were doing to keep you safe during your stay

New Cleaning Technologies

We have started to roll out enhanced technologies, including electrostatic sprayers that allow for touchless disinfecting capabilities. The magnetically charged droplets produced by the electrostatic sprayers seek out and coat hard to reach areas and surfaces typically missed in standard cleaning processes.

We are also using the highest classification of disinfectants recommended by the World Health Organization to treat known pathogens.

Cleaning Regimen Changes

When guests check they will notice a number of additions to the company’s regimen designed to set an even higher standard of cleanliness for our hotel. Specific areas of focus include:

  • Surface Areas: In public spaces, we have added to its already rigorous cleaning protocols, requiring that surfaces are treated with hospital-grade disinfectants and that this cleaning is done with increased frequency. In guest rooms, we have added to our already detailed cleaning practices, requiring all surfaces to be thoroughly cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants.

  • Guest Contact: To help alleviate the risk of COVID-19 transmission through person-to-person contact, we remind guests to maintain social distancing protocols and will remove or re-arrange furniture to allow more space for distancing. Hand sanitising stations are now near the entrances and front desks, elevator banks and public spaces. Touchless check in and touchless room service are available.

  • Food Safety: Our supervisors are trained on safe food preparation and service practices. The company’s food and beverage operations are required to conduct self-inspection using its food safety standards as guidelines, and compliance is validated by independent audits. We are also enhancing sanitation guidelines and training for our team that include hygiene and disinfecting practices. In addition, the company is modifying its operational practices for in-room dining and we have ceased breakfast buffets.

It has been an incredibly tough start to the year for many, our industry has felt this. Thank you all for continuing to support our local community.

We are all in this together.
